Ambiguous Vessel IV is the fourth piece in a series of small porcelain vessels that explore form without prescription — objects whose purpose is open, whose presence is quiet and considered.
Like all of Cindy’s ceramic work, this piece begins as a flat two-dimensional design and is built by hand into its final three-dimensional form using fine porcelain. The result is something that feels both designed and made — precise and warm at the same time.
